It’s that time of year again! Here are three quick and easy strategies to liven up last minute revision.
- One minute essay
Ask students to write a one minute response to a focused question as a revision exercise. This can be especially useful for a starter or plenary activity.
- Misconception check
Present students with a common misconception about the upcoming exam. This could be about exam timings, question approaches or common errors. Ask the students whether they agree or disagree and explain their reasons why. This could be presented in a multiple choice or true / false way. You could even ask your students to create the questions!
- One word summary
Ask the students for a one word summary which summarises a topic or question approach.
Best of luck to you and your students!
